Our story

Medicine should feel like a relationship, not a transaction.

Riverbend started in 2005 in a converted Craftsman on Bridge Street. Dr. Hana Ito had spent eight years in a hospital system that scheduled her for 12-minute visits. She left to build something that gave patients — and clinicians — the time the work actually needs.

Twenty years later we're a team of three, still in the same Craftsman, still booking 30-minute visits, still answering the phone ourselves. We see your kids, your parents, and you — across decades, not minutes.
